Allison Watkins-Conti, Founder of Watkins-Conti Products (WCP), is no stranger to this condition. In her search for feasible solutions to stigmatic leakage, Allison was met with polarizing options — from adult diapers and pads to invasive treatments, including pelvic floor rehabilitation and the use of pessary devices. She learned most over-the-counter products only address the symptoms; there has been no solution to date. In addition to a need for education on stress incontinence affecting one in three women worldwide, there is a growing need to educate consumers, as many women are unaware that SUI is a chronic condition that only worsens with time, which can be challenging because many women are embarrassed to openly discuss it.

Allison Watkins-Conti conceived a revolutionary solution through her own anecdotal experience in 2015. Allison and her team designed, patented, engineered, and manufactured Yōni.Fit, a device to prevent stress urinary incontinence. At present, Yōni.

Fit is undergoing a randomized, comparator-controlled, single-blinded, multicenter study led by Stanford Medicine to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the product. Yōni.Fit is also in clinical trials at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Yōni.Fit is a non-surgical, intravaginal device made from medical-grade silicone for women suffering from SUI. For use, Yōni. Fit is inserted into the vagina, similar to a tampon, and does not require an additional applicator. It applies the appropriate amount of pressure at the bladder neck while counteracting pelvic organ prolapse. Women can wear this device for up to 12 hours a day, or whenever she requires it, and is reusable and can be replaced every 30 days. Apart from the ease of use and reliability it delivers to clients, from a business model perspective, there are multiple recurring revenue streams generated by Yōni.Fit.

The company also offers My Cup Case to consumers, a clean, discreet, and hygienic container for this device. It is developed based on a hard-shell design and features a shatter-proof, BPA-free composite structure. It also comes with an array of ventilation holes to allow for essential airflow to prevent harmful bacterial growth. My Cup Case also has a standalone drying rack included in the base design to enable all contents to dry before use. The company is looking to bring the products to market before the end of 2022.
