The software that is utilized to run the system is smart tech-enabled, and this allows for quick delivery of diagnostic results.

Terumo BCT through their automated blood processing system- -”Reveous”—improves operations and delivers impressive benefits at blood centers. It is easily installed at diagnostic centers, and the automation of the manufacturing system enables for the Reveous system to effortlessly process blood components from whole blood units. The solution comes in four parts. The first part is a stand-alone device that can run tests on four units of blood in a single cycle. The next is the Reveous System Manager (RSM), software that controls the workflow for each device, and enables its reporting capabilities. IT also has a 3 component blood bag set that is utilized for both blood collection, and component processing besides offering leukoreduction capabilities. The final piece is the platelet pooling set that is used to dispose of leukoreduce.
