The sacroiliac (SI) spinal disorder, an inflammation of one or both SI joints, causes low back pain and leg pain. These symptoms are often difficult to differentiate from the radiating leg pain of lumbar disc herniation which makes the diagnosis of SI joint pain a big challenge. The Nano BioBlast surface treatment consists of a unique macro and micro surface texture that uniformly increases the surface area that comes in contact with bone during implantation for improved osseointegration. The treatment process delivers a complex range of micro asperities within macro pits to create an enhanced surface morphology and provides a residue-free surface after passivation. SI-Restore also offers an attached pivoting and load distribution cap, delivering 360 degrees of contact with the ilium, which also reduces the undesired advancement of the screw while allowing secure attachment.
