RemZzzs^® CPAP mask liners were created to solve many of the issues people experience while attempting to treat sleep apnea. Robert Rutan, the founder and CEO of Naturs Design, Inc., witnessed first-hand the challenges people with sleep apnea face. In 2007, his wife, Deborah Rutan, was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and was found to stop breathing 50-80 times per hour. Upon implementing CPAP therapy, Deborah began experiencing the frustrating challenges many patients endure every day which often leads them to give up on much-needed therapy. While the therapy itself can work wonders for those diagnosed with sleep apnea, it often creates a lot of discomfort while attempting to sleep. The silicone mask can cause painful skin irritations and noisy air leaks that keep the CPAP user and their partner awake. When attempting to tighten the mask to eliminate the incurring burping noises and air leaks, it can create increased rashes, sores, pressure marks, and an overall greater level of discomfort, leaving users feeling as though there is no solution. That frustration is exactly how Deborah was feeling one night when she was on the brink of giving up CPAP therapy. In one final attempt to ease his wife’s pain and frustration, Robert had an idea. That night, the RemZzzs^® liner was born!



The patented design of the RemZzzs^® liner acts as a barrier between the face and silicone mask cushion, eliminating most of the common problems associated with wearing a CPAP mask. RemZzzs^® liners can greatly reduce or eliminate noisy air leaks; assist with comfortably holding the mask in place by reducing slippage; prevent skin irritations and pressure marks associated with sleep apnea masks; and promote healing of suspected deep tissue injury and stage one and two pressure sores.
