OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® Original effectively removes oil, debris, and contaminants from the eyelids and eyelashes in order to treat blepharitis, dry eyes, or improve contact lens wearing comfort. OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® Original needs to be rinsed off after use. “Patients are now more aware of the availability of dry eye treatments, which inspires us to invest more in R&D and develop new, innovative products for Dry Eye Syndrome,” adds Mason. As a consequence of this renewed focus on R&D, the company developed an advanced version of the eyelid cleanser—OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® PLUS—which is a leave-on eyelid cleanser with anti-bacterial properties. “Our motto is to get better at our job every day along with focusing on convenience and quality of the products that we deliver at a reasonable price to both patients and doctors,” asserts Mason. This can be exemplified by how the company has recently launched OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® PLUS Platinum which has anti-inflammatory properties to get rid of the redness associated inflammation.

OCuSOFT® delivers these products via subsidiary companies or distributors, depending on the market. For instance, OCuSOFT® UK handles the distribution in the UK, whereas in Southeast Asia, the role is assigned to distributors. Among the diverse Southeast Asian markets, Thailand grabs a major share of clients, with China being an emerging sector. The company’s clients include doctors who practice individually as well as conglomerates of ophthalmology and optometry practices. OCuSOFT® contacts every single account in its database on a monthly basis, making an effort to understand their pain points along with providing relevant products in a timely manner and delivering optimum value. “Our objective is to form relationships with practitioners and continue effective communication with them,” states Mason.
