With a unique balloon dilatation model that can facilitate percutaneous transluminal valvuloplasty, this innovative product proved its efficacy by helping the cardiologist duo address their patient’s needs. More importantly, it paved the way for beginning a new era in the interventional pediatric cardiology space. Identifying the growing demand for such products and the need to augment their capabilities, Tower started his voyage to bring in further innovations by working hand-in-hand with several pediatric cardiologists worldwide.

The coaxial construction helps the catheter inflate and deflate fast, while its super thin balloon offers a low deflated profile that maintains tip flexibility. The distal shaft through the balloon is highly flexible for exceptional maneuverability. This, combined with the pushability of the coaxial shaft, provides outstanding tracking performance.

With its capability to support patients with a small left atrium and in small neonates with congenital heart disease requiring Atrioseptostomy, Z-5 is gaining traction in the interventional pediatric cardiology space today. As the only company that delivers Septostomy Catheters, NuMED is constantly redefining its product to support a wide range of Septostomy cases. The company offers CP Stent, a reliable product for treating native and/or recurrent coarctation of the aorta.
