This improves surgical environments where the accumulation of smoke can affect visibility and pose potential health risks to the patients and surgical staff. In addition, the closed-loop system prevents contaminants from coming in contact with anyone when disposed of after the procedure, as well as ensures no extra CO2 gas is used throughout the procedure to maintain rapid smoke evacuation.

The NEBULAE^® I Insufflation System and NEBULAE^® SRS align with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommendations for smoke evacuation.

The product identifies the ureter by sending a stimulating electrical signal through the body that triggers the peristaltic motion caused by a muscular contraction of the ureteral wall. NTI recently acquired this technology from Allotrope Medical, enabling surgeons to perform surgeries with more confidence. The technology also facilitates convenient medical and legal documentation.
