Using novel techniques to turn unskilled learners into capable professionals is imperative as new paradigms in education become more entrenched. New approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment have resulted from this. Clinical simulation is a cutting-edge method of teaching medicine that has gained rapid traction. A technique known as clinical simulation is used to supplement or even replace actual encounters with supervised ones that interactively evoke or reproduce significant elements of the natural environment. It makes it possible to acquire the skills required for a changing world and to be assessed uniformly.
Virtual reality has significantly enhanced simulation education in various fields, such as clinical teams, surgical skills, ophthalmology, critical care, pediatrics, resuscitation, medical emergencies, microsurgery, anesthesia, and nursing. This modality improves skill acquisition in various settings, and clinical or simulation centers equipped with ad hoc technology can train remote locations with less equipment.
Despite the increase in systematic reviews and meta-analyses related to simulation, work remains to improve the methodological designs of investigations.
