The real cost appears in small interruptions that accumulate across cases, including repositioning the beam or compensating for a shifting frame. Procurement teams should judge the full wearing experience rather than treat brightness as the decisive specification. Weight alone does not determine comfort; distribution across the head and stability during movement matter just as much. Illumination quality is best assessed at the working plane. Brightness numbers alone say little about how evenly the field is lit.
