Geniova’s technology is the combination of removable caps with small, aesthetic attachments placed on the third cervical, allowing quick and controlled dental alignment. It consists of sectioned copings integrated with virtual brackets designed through 3D printing, joined by a nickel-titanium arch wire (Niti wire). The Fast Aligner allows dentists to accelerate orthodontic treatment, adapt to all kinds of cases, and offer immediate results to patients. Using Geniova, patients can achieve teeth movement up to 1 mm a month, which is two times more effective than conventional aligners like metal braces.

This technique is not only comfortable and painless but also facilitates oral hygiene, and can be removed at any point-in-time, provided it is used for no less than 16 hours a day. Depending upon the teeth movements, Geniova’s technique may be designed in most of the cases with an inside arch (lingual), or an outside arch (vestibular) if the case requires it.

Geniova’s devices can be used in all the treatments, either as an accelerator or as a complement for any aligners treatment, from small teeth movements to the complex ones. The company has four treatment typologies, including Mini, Light, Medium, Heavy, and Preo, designed for different levels of movements. What makes its technique special in the orthodontic space is the effectiveness and speed with which the treatments can be carried out. Approximately 90 percent of the patients, dentists, and orthodontists that use Geniova are delighted as it allows them to remove the caps for more than two hours, without hindering the process of alignment. “Our technique allows fewer aligners to be required for each case, resulting in less treatment time, and the crowding corrections can be seen from the first month of use of the device,” states Baselga.
