Skin cells usually start to age from as early as 18 years. The Dermapen 4 cartridge contains 16 pins of33 gauge needles that create 1920 fine fractional channels, which is more than double that of other microneedling devices. Stene Marshall, CEO of DermapenWorld, says, “The device also has a built-in anti-contamination management system and fluid guard mechanisms that make it the safest device in the market right now.” Dermapen is designed to create a safe healing response from the body. It triggers natural collagen and elastin production from within the skin—without harsh side effects—and helps repair the surface layers to generate healthier skin.

Advanced Features Packed in Sleek Design

Dermapen 4 comes with an advanced digital interface that provides speed and depth adjustment capabilities. This enables the device to deliver ergonomic control and digital precision, an affordable, accessible alternative to expensive intense pulsed light /laser equipment. With large, easy-to-read digital display and dual power operation features, the device enables dermatologists and skincare specialists to easily and instantly adjust its settings to suit individual concerns. Moreover, the device follows aproprietary scar treatment algorithm and protocol— specifically created to provide dermatologists and skincare specialists access to the thriving new scar treatment market, which is predicted to reach a peak value of 34.5 billion by 2025.

Prior to Dermapen 4, DermapenWorld had created three different iterations of the current microneedling device, each with additional features and modifications than its predecessor.

The original Dermapen was launched in 2010 and it revolutionized microneedling. Even today, Dermapen remains the most widely used microneedling system worldwide and is recognized as the gold standard in microneedling. To date, over 2.0 million successful skin needling procedures have been carried out with Dermapen.

Minimal Trauma, Maximum Results

Under the hood of all the Dermapen devices is the company’s patented advanced oscillating vertical needle (AOVN) technology—for fractional rejuvenation—which facilitates increased speed, precision, power, and accuracy as well as safety (no skin tugging) during the skin rejuvenation process. AOVN enables a gliding action that smoothly flows over the skin to deliver efficient, dramatic, and long-lasting results. On top of that, DermapenWorld’s microneedling devices also have an adjustable needle depth that allows dermatologists to vary the depth of penetration throughout the entire treatment. “The typical dermal rollers have a fixed needle or penetration depth (approximately 0.5 mm) and are not very conducive for treating difficult-to-reach areas,” adds Marshall. With Dermapen 4, it is now easier to treat areas around the eyes, eyelids, earlobes, neck, lips, nose, or larger areas of neck and décolleté, stomach, and legs for stretch mark treatments.

To further improve Dermapen 4’s treatment outcomes, DermapenWorld has also created its own meso-infusion skincare range—DP Dermaceuticals—to be used during the Dermapen treatments. “DP Dermacueticals is the only skincare line that has been designed specifically for microneedling. Our intent was to improve our products and protocols in order to provide the practitioner and the patient with the best experience and results possible,” informs Marshall. Typically, one can notice changes in their skin after the first treatment. However, lasting and more significant results can be seen in 6 to 12 months after the course of treatments.

Through years of hard work and dedication, DermapenWorld, which started in 2010 with one needling pen, has now created a range of four versions of its Dermapen microneedling devices.
