Each of the three products were developed by Datum Dental to serve the requirements of various GBR and GTR procedures. A legacy product of the company, OSSIX® Plus is a novel ossifying collagen barrier membrane (serves as a true barrier for 4-6 months), that provides excellent biocompatibility and is resistant to degradation when exposed (for up to 3-5 weeks), improving soft tissue healing and minimizing complications or impact of patient non-compliance. OSSIX® Volumax, a unique volumizing, multi-layer collagen scaffold, was developed to help clinicians add extra volume mostly in lateral augmentations, buccal dehiscence, gingival recession procedures while having positive effect on bone and soft tissue quality. The latest innovation from Datum Dental, OSSIX™ Bone, is a resorbable hydroxyapatite and sugar cross-linked collagen matrix designed to promote natural bone regeneration without remnants or migration of material. All GLYMATRIX®-based OSSIX® products are manufactured in-house at Datum Dental’s 750 square meter GMP facility. The company adheres to stringent quality and ISO safety standards for its products with international regulatory clearances/approvals from CE, FDA, CGMP, and CMDR.
