Research says that an estimated 45 percent of adults occasionally snore, while 25 percent snore regularly. The ratio of snoring between men and women is 2:1, which means men are likely to snore more. Such sleep disorders have become rampant these days. Factors such as allergies, lifestyle changes, colds, and the inhalation of medications have increased the pervasiveness of sleep disorders like obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), snoring, and breathing problems. For instance, snoring coupled with obesity can highly increase the chances of OSA. As such, the demand for internal nasal dilators has increased significantly. Many devices are available in the market that claim to reduce snoring, but none has proven effective.

Breaking this mold is Airmax, a small medical device that relieves nasal congestion. Designed after years of clinical research and innovation with ENT specialists, the device created a breakthrough in 2002 for people with sleeping disorders. Therefore, the Rhinologists in major university referral centers in Rhinology are recommending the use of Airmax° to their patients.
